ABOUT THE CLASS:

Accomplished baker, recipe developer and pie artist extraordinaire Sarah Ward will lead a workshop all about the beloved pie.

This hands-on class will take you through the process of making an apple pie from scratch, from preparing the dough to assembling and baking the finished pie. Sarah will share her techniques and guidance throughout the afternoon, with plenty of time to work through each step and ask questions.

This class is for everyone from the beginner baker learning the fundamentals to the avid baker looking to refine their skills. You’ll make your own apple pie and leave with a perfect delicious fresh pie that’s ready to be enjoyed (or frozen for the holiday table!).

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Sarah Ward is an accomplished baker and recipe developer based in Birmingham, Alabama. In recent years, she worked as a freelancer developer and food stylist, Food Editor for Southern Cast Iron magazine, and Editor of Taste of The South magazine. SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING:
Please bring your favorite rolling pin to class. You can also bring a bench scraper or pastry blender if you prefer to learn with those tools.
